"You will see there are to be significant increases across the board and that being the holder of a dog owner licence/Responsible dog Owner will mean exactly nothing if you are responsible and pay your account on time! In fact owners with desexed dog who hold a responsible owner licence stand to have an increase in excess of 2.5 times what they paid last year if paid before 1 August. My understanding is that this document was approved by Council at a meeting on 15/2/12 and is going to be open for public consultation for about a month.
Please forward to as many dog owners as you can in whatever way you can and get them to fight these outrageous increases. Responsible dog owners are effectively being penalised. It seems that we have another battle on our hands.
