Protect the disbaled and incapactitated

Dear Mr. President,Congressmen,Senators;
I feel the government whom we elect and serve to protect Americans need to act to insure the safety and protection of the disabled and incapacitated Americans.There are too many people like terri Schindler Schiavo,Sun Hudson,and so many others that are being taken off life support,being with held from food and hydration and in both of the named cases neither had written directives therefore other people were allowed to make the discision for them.No human should have to endure a death of starvation. If we starve an animal to death we are put in jail but now here in the United States judges,doctors,and the government are allowing this to happen to people.The United States is suppose to be the land of the free but freedom of choice to live or die is being taken away from people like terri Schiavo and so many others.I feel that if there is no written directive the incapacitated person needs to be protected and given the right to have someone represent them other than people involved in the case to represent them and to fight for what they may want.This has to be changed.We all have the right to live.And you as our elected leaders need to protect our rights.
