Reclaiming Government Representation

Dear Congressional Members of the 110th Congress:



The American citizens who elect you to represent our interest are being sold out for interest of the fringe right, fringe left, foreign governments, corporations, and illegal immigrants. WE are tired of being the tax paying members who are getting no true representation despite taxation.



The following are changes we demand; failure to meet these demands will result in a Remove Incumbent Politicians or (RIP) campaign.



Enforce immigration laws and put teeth in to new immigration legislation. Fine any company caught hiring an illegal worker $90K per violation and for any non-profit organization who commits such a violation, fine $55K. Fine the government of any nation whose citizens break our immigration law $175K per violation. Nations who fail to pay said fines within 6 months of issue will face monetary, trade, or combined penalties.



Taxes shall be collected in the following manner concerning foreign visiting persons and money transfers out of the United States. Accept food goods, tax any non-resident living legally in the United States 5\% on all purchases, with a set rate of 7\% of the same for anyone visiting from a foreign nation. Money transfers to any foreign nation are taxed at 6\% if the transfer comes from a legal citizen, all others will be taxed at 14 to 25\% depending upon the debt created by illegal immigration from the given nation.



All public education is no longer funded by the states. Here forward, the states will collect funds through methods they see fit for a national educational funding pool, of which funds then will be distributed by the Department of Education to school systems on a per child basis.



Minimum wage levels must increase to $8.25 per hour, with equivalent rates being paid if said worker is paid on a salary schedule and said rates must be equivalent in terms of weekly, monthly, and yearly pay.



Any corporate pension must be guaranteed for the rate of funds contributed into said account by a given employee. This legislation is necessary to prevent millions of workers from losing their hard earned retirement savings due to mismanagement, criminal, or other activities of a given corporation or other entity.





Major political reform is also necessary to return our democracy to its citizens. Congressional terms are now limited to 12 years in the House, 12 years in the Senate, or a combined total of 16 years in both houses. Lobbyist reforms will include: making it illegal for any Congress members or Executive office holders to lobby or receive pay for lobbyist work for 6 years after the last day served in office. Anyone running for office must have been removed in association and in payroll from such positions for 30 months prior to election to office. It is recommended that similar laws pass at the state levels, to remove the practice within those legislatures and executive departments.



Campaign limits must be enforced, from now on no citizen can donate more than 1K to a candidate and no more than $15K to candidates, parties, or any other related campaign groups or organizations during the election cycle. Any corporate, nonprofit, 527, or other group donations are limited to $2K per candidate and $30K combined during the election cycle. No political campaign is allowed to transfer access funds to other political campaigns. If a donation was given to a particular campaign, that donation was given in good faith with the intent of electing that candidate only and therefore, the transfer of funds between campaigns is now illegal.



Federal matching funds must from this day forward be offered to any candidate for Federal office. The Presidency must be transferred from a state to a popular Federal election with the removal of the Electoral College. If this is not done, then a Federal standard should be issues for Ballot access for any person seeking to run for Federal office, reducing the unfairly overly restrictive burden placed on the third party and independent candidate.



We citizens ask that these provisions be enacted immediately through legislation or where required, a Constitutional Amendment that can be brought to the several states for ratification. It is in your political interests and in the interest of this nation to do so, or America as it was envisioned by the founding fathers will eventually fail to exist.
