Regulate Paris BPU Disconnect Policy

I, the undersigned, do agree with the need for a Cold Weather Rule in the State of Tennessee and particularly in Henry County, TN. to regulate Paris Board of Public Utilities from turning off the electric to the poor, disabled and sick during the winter months for lack of payment. I believe that the threat to the health and welfare of the people is adversely affected by the current policies of BPU. I also believe that Paris Board of Public Utilities and namely, John Etheridge, general manager of BPU, has not acted in good faith with consumers in trying to work out payment plans with customers, despite his assertion that BPU works with people to avoid disconnection.
