In March of 2011, Lifetime Movie Network, a division of A&E Television Networks, announced the DVD release of "Amanda Knox, A Murder in Italy" for May 24, 2011. On the day before it rescheduled release May 17, 2011 - at least according to an email from Amazon.com - it was suddenly pulled. There was no explanation to be had even from the corporate office.
This is outrageous and arrogant behavior for any business, particularly one which relies on viewer and customer goodwill to survive.
We demand that A&E's President Abbe Raven either personally provide a complete and public explanation for this behavior or a that a firm and unviolable release date be provided to the public and that every disc contain a written explanation for the delay and a discount or voucher for those who preordered this film from vendors such as Amazon.com and an apology from all responsible.
