Libel, defamation, harassment, cyberstalking. These are activities which do not serve to enrich and contribute to a community, but rather serve to undermine the civil status quo.
We the residents of the virtual world Second Life, sign our names to this document in protest to the years of continued, deliberate, and malicious behavior from the resident known as "Prokofy Neva."
Prokofy has a documented history of abuse, having been banned from the official Linden forums, as well as the Second Life JIRA issue management system. In-world violations include disclosure of real-life information and abuse of the reporting system.
Prokofy's blog, located at http://secondthoughts.typepad.com/, has become a platform for hateful intolerance used to spread libel which has caused irreparable damage to both in-world residents and their real life typist.
We strongly believe that the presence of this individual has harmed, and will continue to harm the Second Life community as a whole. We ask that Linden Lab considers this petition, and removes this individual as per section 11.4 of the Second Life Terms of Service.
11.4 We may suspend or terminate your Account(s) to protect the best interests of Second Life and the Second Life community or if we believe you pose an unacceptable risk to the Second Life community.
