This petition has been created because of recent statements made by Rosie O'Donnell on "The View."
Her offenses are as follows:
1) 12/06 - used "ching chong" on "The View" to describe Chinese people. This offended many people. For someone who is overweight and gay, shouldn't she be more sensitive to stereotypical slurs/insults? Whatever happened to political correctness?
2) Rosie made fun of Donald Trump - she started a feud that wasted valuable airtime which could have been used to talk about something relevant.
****WORST OFFENSE****
3) She has begun attacking "American Idol" for insulting people. She is quoted by ExtraTV.com as saying, 'To make fun of someones physical appearance, is this what America thinks is entertainment?' Rosie challenged." Well didn't she make fun of Donald Trump's physical appearance to make her audience laugh? This seems a tad hypocritical. Oh, didn't she make fun of Chinese people to invoke laughter from her audience?
Rosie is now attacking Paula Abdul, implying she was intoxicated even though Paula has denied this and there is no evidence to back up her claim. This is slander and Fox, Paula, and the execs at American Idol should all sue.
Everyone who watched American Idol WANTS to see Simon Cowell insult people. Rosie has crossed the line and it's finally time to say enough is enough.
We, the undersigned, demand to have Rosie O'Donnell removed from "The View" via buying out her contract or by any means necessary before she ruins the fun of American Idol and kills off Barbara Walter's great show. The undersigned will not watch The View until Rosie is off the air.
