REMOVE THE WALL

BRING DOWN THE WALL!

This is a petition against a bedroom divide! It divides the second largest bedroom in our house into two, for the convenience of around 10 days per year. For the remaining 355/6 days per year, poor Tom has to put up with living in an a reduced area simply so that his elder brother Ben who lives 250 miles away in London has somewhere to crash on the brief occasions that he visits. It may appear harsh to exclude this person from having a bedroom, however on recent visits home, Ben has only used this bedroom for sleeping, and has ignored the space for the remaining time whilst at home in favour of residing in the living room and gamesroom. There is a perfectly good sofa bed in the gamesroom, therefore leaving any claims against this action void. Is 70 hours a year really a warrant for not allowing Tom his right to a decent bedroom?? On a further note, our father (Dad not some deity) has recently acquired a new job 100 miles away. In order to sell the house (which Ben is favourable of, as he permanently winges about the bleakness of Yorkshire and would like Mum and Dad to be able to live together during the week) this wall should be removed according to estate agents for the house to reach its maximum sale potential. On a further note, both Ben and Hannah(sister) and myself have all had larger rooms as teenagers. Tom has not had a large bedroom since he was 8 years old. Please sign to try and convince our parents to remove the bedroom divide and bring equality.
