Restore Your Manhood in public and without shame

Preamble:

For years, the makers of large automobiles have marketed to men who were compensating for their shortcomings. The auto industry would market to these men, they would take their money, but they asked their struggling customers to hide their shortcomings in shame.

Hummer recently launched a brave and controversial advertising campaign, Restore Your Manhood, encouraging men with manhood restoration issues to finally come out of the closet and tell their neighbors.

In recent weeks GM has backed off, changing the Restore Your Manhood slogan to a meaningless "Restore the Balance," which sounds more like an ad for a high fiber laxative than an aid for a man struggling to restore himself.

Men feeling unsure of their manhood who want to play in military vehicles have been in the "camouflage closet" too long.

Therefore, we ask General Motors and Hummer: please continue to take pride in producing the car of choice for males struggling to Restore their Manhood!


Dear General Motors,

While all large SUV companies have quietly advertised to men compensating for their shortcomings, Hummer took a brave stance in openly advertising towards men ready to leave the shame behind and be public about their Manhood Restoration issues. Hummer faced flak for "outing" men with manhood issues, Hummer faced flak for creating a gas-guzzling make-believe-military vehicle in these times of oil wars, and sadly you backed down from your "Restore Your Manhood" stance. By backing down you are forcing Hummer owners back into the "camouflage closet," and we are petitioning Hummer to continue to stand against shame for those needing Manhood Restoration. The unrestored man who wants to stay home and waste oil in a make-believe military vehicle while others fight for that oil is a legitimate member of our society, and should hide in shame no longer. General Motors, continue to stand for those needing to Restore Their Manhood!
