Restricting Entertainment Publications, Inc.

ENTERTAINMENT PUBLICATIONS, INC. has been charging monthly $9.00 fees to many people who utilize Ticket Master. There are over 200 posts (on http://www0.epinions.com/msg/sec_~forums/show_~threads/cat_id_~22/id_~3855/forum_id_~145) from people who have been wrongfully charged for simply trying to purchase tickets which in many cases can only be found on Ticket Master. Even people who specifically unchecked the box to allow Entertainment Publications to charge them were still charged and had accounts opened in their name. 373 people in the last 36 months felt strongly enough about their charges they contacted the Better Business Bureau (http://search.detroit.bbb.org/nis/newsearch2.asp?ID=1&ComID=0332000000003353)

It should not be possible to sign up for an account and get charged a monthly fee by simply checking or un-checking a box when attempting to purchase a product from a completely different company. The email that Entertainment Publications sends to cover liability ends up in most email hosts "Junk" folder and therefore is rarely noticed by the customer.

The undersigned are demanding that no new accounts be created for Entertainment Publications using the information the customer has given Ticket Master, Ticket Web, Hotels.com, Match.com, Expedia, Wallpaper.com, or any other affiliate of Entertainment Publications. If a person truly would like to sign up for Entertainment Publications they can retype their credit card information for them specifically. This will stop all of the accounts aforementioned from being opened.

The undersigned are completely opposed to Entertainment Publications, Inc. current business practices in regards to account creation and insist they make amendments as previously stated.
