Retract Our Position on Kosovo

This may be the straw that breaks our back. The U.S.A. is very frail right now with our international relations and we can not afford to piss off Russia. To support Kosovo's independence is like spitting in Serbia's proverbial face. Russia, being a big nuclear power and Serbia's greatest ally, is now threatening the U.S., among a few other European nations, with military force. The Prime Minister of Serbia has stated to the media that he blames the United States alone for the violence in Serbia and will hold us responsible for future events. Does this not frighten anyone else but me?
