Reward London's Football Club.

We the undersigned respectfully submit that the Piccadilly Line should be renamed the Arsenal line. This would be a fitting reward to the football club that have done more than any other club to enhance London's standing as an international city. Ask any foreigner about London and they will instantly say "Arsenal Football Club". The reasons are clear, Arsenal have won more league titles than all other London clubs put together, they have the history, the tradition, the honour, ask any Italian about the "Arsenal" versus Italy match in 1934 (when Italy were World Champions).
Most tourists I speak to are astounded that Arsenal have not been given more recognition by their own town, renaming the Piccadilly Line would be a step in the right direction.
Of course this probably does not go far enough, "should we not rename the London Borough of Islington to the London Borough of Arsenal" I hear you say, well you are probably right. No other football team has brought more fame, history, attention and fame to the great city that is London than ARSENAL. It is fitting that they should be rewarded in a small way, like this.
It must not be forgotten that London is attempting to portray itself as a sporting city in light of the award of the 2012 Olympics, to deny such a simple request as this would be a slap in the face of all those people who have worked so hard to bring the Olympics to London.
In closing, any small costs that would be Inclurred by changing the Piccadilly Line to the Arsenal Line (and switching the colour of the line with the central line) would be more then recouped with the increased tourism that such a step would engender.
