I, the undersigned, do hereby state that I am a duly qualified voter of the Rush Henrietta Central School District, that I was registered to vote therein at the time of the last preceding general election, that my present place of residence and my place of residence at the time of the last preceding general election are truly stated opposite my signature hereto, I intend to support the ensuing district meeting, and I do hereby petition the Board of Education of the Rush Henrietta Central School District to review the following question to be voted on at the next district meeting to be held on the 24th day of April, 2007or at a special meeting to be scheduled for this purpose.

QUESTION: Shall the LOTE department of the Rush Henrietta School District be permitted to reduce the American Sign Language program to allow only elective courses at the high school level and for the ASL classes to be completely eliminated at the middle school level? We, the undersigned feel that the ASL program should remain unchanged. It is our desire as students in this district to keep the ASL program as it is.
