Following revelations recently published in campus publications, it has become clear that the legitimacy of RyeSACs February 2005 elections and the students elected to the 2005-2006 RyeSAC executive has been proved questionable. In regards to:
- Allegations of ballot stuffing;
- Documented instances of poll clerks attempting to sway voters decision;
- Numerous students turned away at booths;
- Employees forced to speak anonymously of ballot stuffing because of potential hiring repercussions;
We, the undersigned, have added our signatures to this petition to formally demand that the election results of February 2005 be thrown out and that a new election process be ordered as soon as possible.
