Hello everyone.
A couple of weeks ago a machinima series (like Red Vs Blue) named Back in NYC was started using the game engine Deus Ex. It was free and quite funny, in fact.
However only three episodes were released into then public domain.
Eidos, the company who currently own the rights to Deus Ex requested that the makers "ordered to cease and desist our copyright infringing criminal activities." However the episodes were free to download and many companies before have allowed machinima series made using their own games to carry on making short episodes. I (and many others) do not see why Eidos cannot allow this to happen with a game like Deus Ex. It would bring them more publicity and many more things.
So please sign this petition and bring back Back in NYC.
