Save Girls Softball in Alpharetta GA

We the undersigned Residents of the City of Alpharetta and Supporters of Alpharetta Youth Softball, believe that the proposal for the John Smoltz Baseball Complex (JSBC) as presently understood, is not in the best interests of the residents of Alpharetta. This proposal will initially take up to four (4) girls softball fields at North Park.

We believe that if this proposal is approved and implemented it will result in the ultimate elimination of Alpharetta Youth Softball Association (AYSA Girls Softball) and Adult Softball leagues at North Park in Alpharetta. Further, this proposal, if implemented will adversely impact area high school girl softball teams (Milton, Alpharetta, Chattahoochee, St Francis, Mt Pisgah and Fellowship Christian high schools), neighborhoods surrounding North Park and other existing sports associations located at North Park.
By signing and submitting this petition we are communicating our profound disagreement with this proposal and respectfully requesting that it be withdrawn.
