This petition is being created in response to the IACC Shura announcement earlier this year to close IACC Elementary school from 2010 onwards.
The purpose of this petition is to show our objection of such a decision and to save the Elementary school for future generations.
IACC Academy/Elementary is the ONLY Islamic School in COLLIN COUNTY. The school fosters a caring and continuously improving environment.
In addition to Elementary, IACC Academy offers daycare, pre-school and pre-K. One of the main arguments of the Shura was our community does not care about our school. First, most of our community did not know about our school due to lack of marketing compared to other DFW Islamic School. This petition, with your help, will show our Plano/Collin County Community does care and Inshallah, our efforts in numbers will ensure our beloved school will remain open and continue to improve.
Our students national test scores averaged in the 94th percentile which is far above national standards. speaks for itself.

We the community strongly support the continuation of this valuable institution. We need an institution like IACC academy in our community for our children. Although my children due to their were not able to attend IACC but as summer school teacher I have experienced how well prepared the children from IACC were.
