Save our Justice System...Paedophiles must stop!

The Sex Offenders Act; which came into force in 1997, created a register of sexual offenders. This register was created with the intention of protecting the public and gave the police power to monitor paedophiles.

However by March 2001, the amount of people on the register has reached a staggering 15,000, with another 2,000 being added every six months.

Nearly two-thirds of the offenders have committed crimes that require them to be registered for life.

Not forgetting that well known politicians such as, David Blunkett has acknowledged that sexual crimes cause great concern amongst the public.

And with more and more cases of paedophiles getting light sentences because they plead guilty or because they need to protect the criminals human rights shows that Britains Justice System Must Change!

So petition with me to introduce tougher and longer sentences to the criminals that victimize society!

Better protection to the Victims of crime.

Finally more support towards the victims and family!

Dont let us turn back into the 1970s where the entire fault was down to the victim. In 1991 the act which acknowledged rape within a marriage was created. So let 2007 and 2008 be the year for even greater change, Let this petition be the petition taken to our government and make a greater society for future generations.
