We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the possible destruction and/or closing of the popular Lawrence bar and landmark The Crossing. We, the undersigned, feel that not only is the bar historical to Lawrence, but is cherished by Lawrence residents,students, and University of Kansas Alumni.
We, the undersigned, are petitioning for the new and future owners to keep The Crossing open and running as it currently is (June 24th, 2006). If this petition does not sway the new ownership, we will accept the decisions handed down, but please take our plea into consideration.
