We the undersigned object to the fact that the concerts at Kenwood House in Hampstead have been cancelled this year because of the licence conditions imposed by Camden Council in 2006. For 55 years the concerts have given huge pleasure to hundreds of thousands of people and are an important part of Camdens cultural tradition. A small number of local objectors have spoiled this enjoyment. The concerts also provide much needed income to run Kenwood House. We urge Camden Council to review the licence conditions and work with English Heritage and all other interested parties so that the concerts can return to Kenwood in 2008.
