I the undersigned, am signing this petition to save the ' old school field', Hillmorton, Rugby. I understand that Rugby Borough Council has terminated it's 25 year lease on the 'Old School playing field' in Hillmorton on the grounds that they can no longer 'afford to maintain it'.
I urge RBC to reconsider this decision, as I and many other local residents and visitors both enjoy the open space and feel it is an important feature in our local community, encouraging a range of biodiversity to our landscape. I have thus pledged my support to save this valuable green space.
