There is currently a proposal to build a 24/7 McDonalds, 24/7 Petrol Station and Liquor Store between two primary schools, one public and one private, in the suburb of Greenfields (Riverside Gardens), Mandurah, Western Australia.
In spite of a huge protest from the community, parents, teachers and residents it looks as if this will be approved by the State Government.
We say that NO fast food, junk food or alcohol retailers should be built, placed or take up tennancy next to or within site of primary schools.
The final decision will be made on the 28th of April 2014!!
