We herby agree that we do not and will not tolerate the AKC's acceptance of the American Bulldog into it's registry! This breed is vast in it's lineage and this is what makes it unique as a breed. If accepted the AKC will not tolerate the traditional working aspects of the American Bulldog and will subsequently abolish any forms of the AB's original working purpose. The American Bulldog as we know it, will become extinct if forced to conform to a standard that was never intended for this breed. The American Bulldog will be reborn as a "show quality" pet if this is allowed to happen.

The registries that recognize and endorse the working ability of this breed are already in place and are being utilized. AKC recognition is not needed or as far as I can perceive sought after by the majority of this breeds enthusiasts and breeders.
