Sequel to Outlaws

In 1997 LucasArts introduced the game Outlaws, a "first person shooter in the old west". But the game never really hit the great audiences. The game was great, the graphics were good, the soundtrack still stands as one of the greatest in game-history to this day. It was one of the first games in this genre with open gameplay where one could (within limited areas of course) walk freely, and do tasks and quests in a non-linear order. It was also one of the first (if not the first) first person shooters with a sniper scope, which seems to be mandatory in fisrt person shooters today. The story was pretty good (keep in mind that this is a "spagetthi-western-style" game), and the videos were excellent with their cartoony graphics and cinematic style.

All in all, the game was very thorough, and is still amusing today, even though the evolusion in gaming since then has been great.

Since it never hit the crowds, and therefore never became an economic success, I want to do an effort to try and convince LucasArts that there still are people who love this game, and want to see a sequel.

Outlaws has been selected as the most underrated game through history (by the magazine Retro Gamer, I believe.)
