Sex Industry Act

The Sex Industry is defined as an industry where Sex workers may be employed as prostitutes, strippers, go-go dancers, burlesque performers, escorts, dominatrices, peepshow workers, phone sex operators, hustlers, foot fetish models, brothel workers, or porn stars among other things. Some sex workers are paid to engage in sex acts which involve varying degrees of physical contact with clients. Other sex workers are paid to engage in live sexual performance, such as web cam sex and phone sex. Others are paid merely to be companions. The petition to create a bill does not in any way oppose the Sex Industry. Its entire purpose is to increase the minimum legal age for sex workers from 18 to 21.
