The purpose of this petition is to bring down the waste of cyberspace that is PetitionOnline.com. Dont get me wrong, folks, I am not against petitions or our right as Americans to petition, but rather the idea of an online petition. Why, you ask? Because I have seen thousands of these things across the internet, demanding that (insert name here) does (insert desired action here), and I have NEVER seen them work. They wont either, because people do not consider these legit. Im sure there are many people out there who abuse the hell out of this service, and I know this thought has occurred to the peoples who have receive these petitions, ergo they will not acknowledge these in the slightest. I urge all of you who want something done to go OUTSIDE and gather real signatures, they will be taken far more seriously. Send a message to the webmasters of cyberwaste, and help take down a pointless giant.
(Yes, I am aware of the irony of using an online petition to stamp them out, so dont bother brining it up.)
