Dear Warner Brothers,
Stanley Kubrick was a legend. He was an artist, a visionist with imagination, who made films that not only told wonderful stories (and told them well), but he showed all that he can show in these films. He was one of the greatest directors of all time, who created some of the greatest films of all time, and we, the consumers feel that it is your responsibility to give these films the treatment they deserve.
The undersigned and I would greatly appreciate it if you created special edition DVDs of the following:
Lolita (1962)
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
Barry Lyndon (1975)
The Shining (1980)
Full Metal Jacket (1987)
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
If you grant the above request, the undersigned and I would gladly purchase at least one of these wonderful masterpieces. Special edition DVDs sell very well, especially special editions of these Kubrick films, just take a look at Columbia's Special Edition of "Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb" (1964), and you will earn more money in selling the DVDs, than in producing them. We are tired of cheaply made, low rate, low quality DVDs, and Kubrick deserves the best treatment possible, so if you make these Special Editions, the undersigned and I would very gladly appreciate it.

I'd love to see these released. Just don't butcher them by cropping them to widescreen like the Strangelove "40th Anniversary" DVD did (except for 2001, which originally had the widescreen aspect ratio).
