Statue for John Elway at Mile High

We are attempting to petition either the City of Denver and/or the Denver Broncos to commission a statue of the Greatest Broncos ever John Elway to be placed at Mile High Stadium. Many other cities of various sports have erected statue or monuments of their greatest players, coaches and owners. There is no reason that John Elway shouldn't be a further immortalized as the greatest Denver Bronco to play. We ask you to sign this petition to further our effort and join us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Statue-of-John-Elway-at-Mile-High/362760942065). We realize that this may seem as a frivolous effort considering economic conditions, but if we don't have our hero's and we don't remember all the joy they brought to us with all those amazing football memories what do we have as a distraction from all the negative. This is intended to be a fun attempt at recognizing a football great forever in Denver not just Canton.
