Stop abuse of horses in Limerick

As you are driving into Limerick, if you take the turn off for Castletroy/University of Limerick, you will pass Brookfield Hall student accomodation. Across from this student accomodation, there is the remains of a field..a vast amount of withered flowers and grass. In it there are several horses which are very badly treated. They are malnourished and dirty and their tails are matted. It's horrifying to see and unfortunately it's been this way for a while now. Can somebody do something about this disgraceful abuse of these poor creatures or is Ireland going to live upto it's nonchalent attitude towards animal cruelty. Please sign my petition to save these poor, misfortunate horses. Thank you.
