Stop all Electronic Retail Giants from ripping off the Canadian consumers!

This is a bid to persuade Major Electronics Retailers in Canada including Bestbuy, Futureshop, Apple, and the rest to stop taking advantage of the Canadian consumer and adjust prices to reflect the surging Canadian dollar and the true value of the products. This includes matching the prices to the US prices for the same product and then account for the conversion rates from US to CDN at the time. We also ask the retailers to stop making excuses for the higher price. Some of the excuses include; Canada is a smaller market", "CSA approval costs more", "Canadian products have different parts that are more expensive", "different warrantees in Canada cost more", "bilingual labelling is expensive", etcetera. These are excuses that we do not believe and have never been given solid evidence of.
If the retailers don't want to act NOW we vow TO NOT SHOP at any major electronic retailer in Canada until we see action.
