Stop Avatar the Last Airbender from being made into a live action film

This petition is in response to the fact that Paramount Pictures will be making a live action movie based on Avatar: the Last Airbender, to be directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Avatar should not be made into a live action film. Avatar has been successful on its own, why do you seek to change it? One of the main appeals of the show is in fact the beautiful animation. I know of many people who follow the show, and would be severely disappointed to learn that Avatar is being made into a live action movie. My friends and I believe that a live action movie just simply cannot capture what Avatar is all about. We know the characters' voices; live actors cannot replace them. We know the wild and wonderful creatures of the world of Avatar- many of which simply cannot be replaced by CGI. So much of what we love about the show would be lost if it was made into a live action movie. Yes, people will still go see it. But so many more will go if it is the Avatar they know and love. Stop Avatar the Last Airbender from being a live action film, and make it into an animated film. I implore you to sign this petition.
