According to the news stories, there are some officials who are whole heartedly against such legislation. However, the ones who are presenting their ideas to enact BSL are using existing legislation from surrounding areas as justification.
With the internet, we have the power to gather ourselves more completely and make sure our dogs get a fair "trial." Let's take advantage of it. If you live in an affected area, I would encourage you to try and contact other apbt owners or clubs/club members in your area and try to attend local meetings.

We need to show them that there is a responsible population of apbt owners that love our dogs and do our best to bring out and nourish the TRUE character of these dogs; intensely loving and loyal companions not man aggressive monsters blinded with rage and a bloodlust.

To little information and too much negative publicity. Hasn't history shown us that discrimination is wrong. Pointing a finger and blaming and entire species, just like blaming a race of people, is WRONG! Punish the deed, not the breed.

Stop BSL. Should be on the specific dog NOT the breed. Our Pit has a better temperment than our Black Lab.

I am not a apbt owner, but a doberman pinscher owner, and I feel if legislation is passed regarding abpt's it will only be a matter of time before the same will happen for doberman pinschers and likely Rotties also.
