Every dog has the potential to love but not every dog is given the chance.
Some animal rescue organizations, including Auckland SPCA, raise awareness and fight against animal cruelty but they discriminate and will not re-home certain breeds.
These breeds are euthanized and never given the opportunity to prove they can love a family.
The Pit-bull was originally bred to nanny American children and has slowly been given the image of mans worst enemy through no fault of their own.
We as a human race have failed this breed and its time we speak for them and fight for the chance they deserve.
This petition is not fighting for every dog to be re-homed but for every dog to be given the same fair chance at life, the chance to pass a temperament test and the chance to find a suitable family.
