Hello animals lovers! I am the creator of the website for the Heber Springs Humane Society in Arkansas. I put pictures of dogs and cats on there. Every week the man who works at the shelter euthanizes about 5 dogs. And thats only on the slow months! Our shelter has $58,000 dollars but they won't spend any on more dog houses. So when more dogs come in and enough don't get adopted, sadly some go out, too. There are a lot more humane societies in the country who euthanize dogs and cats. These animals are not euthanized because of poor health, because they are all young, beautiful, healthy animals. This must be stopped because we know these animals can get great homes!
