Speaking as an American Citizen that is at least semi intelligent I believe our society would be better off as a whole if Fox News were to shut down. We the people are tired of the corruption, hypocrisy, outrageousness, and plain old lies that come from the network. Fox is currently leading several personal attacks while contradicting itself. It supports and promotes a complete lack of factual information from our political party. We are just sick of it, and would very much like if it would shut the doors for good. An alternative: Fox news could go to www.politifact.com and make formal apologies for all of the false information it has fed the less intelligent side of our species.
