Stop Horse Slaughter- a Equine Angels/Dream Away campaign

Please help support our horses by supporting "Equine Angels". By signing this petition, you are joining others who agree that Horse Slaughter MUST BE STOPPED! Petition states:

We, the undersigned herein, request that Congress in both the United States and in every State of the Union, adopt a policy and law such as california's "Proposition 6", a state initiative to prohibit horse slaughter for human consumption, punishable as a felony. We also request that such legislation have no bearing on the taxation or licensing of horses. Our cause is simple: to STOP the slaughter of horses for human consumption being exoprted to other companies such as these companies do:

CAVEL INTERNATIONAL DeKalb Illinois

It is in our opinion as citizens and free-speaking people of the United States of America that these acts should be stopped and that legislation should be passed making it illegal.
