Huntingdon Life sciences (HLS) near Cambridge is Europes largest commercial animal testing lab. HLS have thousands of animals locked away behind closed doors, cats, dogs, monkeys, rabbits, mice, birds, fish, horses, deers, donkeys and many other animals. These animals are killed in a variety of experiments for products such as weedkillers, food additives, household products, artificial sweeteners, pesticides, paints, dyes and GMOs.
HLS have been caught out by four undercover investigations that have all revealed horrific animal cruelty as well as staff falsifying the results of experiments to get products on the market. Channel 4 filmed workers punching and shaking 4-month-old beagle puppies. HLS workers have been filmed cutting open a live monkey, terrifying animals and pretending to have sex with dogs.
HLS are NOT a medical research company experimenting to find cures as they claim. They are a profit making organization-testing products for sale in the market place. Their work has nothing to do with helping animals or people.
Many healthcare professionals involved in the campaign state that the products HLS put on the market are toxic and dangerous to human health. HLS refuse to debate their work with doctors and scientists.
Many doctors and scientists worldwide campaign against animal testing because you cannot use the results from animal tests to predict what will happen to humans when they are exposed to these products. Many of HLSs customers have put products on the market that have POISONED and KILLED people!
SHAC was set up in 1999 with the intention of closing down HLS. Our previous campaigns closed down a beagle breeders for vivisection-200 dogs were rehomed, though tragically HLS managed to buy all their breeding stock. We also closed down Hillgrove cat farm that sold kittens as young as 10 days old to laboratories worldwide-800 cats were rehomed when it closed. Caring campaigners have also closed down Shamrock Farm that sold monkeys for experiments, and Regal Rabbits that supplied the vivisection industry, with 1200 rabbits finding loving new homes.
All these places have closed because of caring people like you-people who hate cruelty and are prepared to not just sit back, but to take action and fight to save the animals and close these terrible businesses down.

*~*So please take your time and sign this petition and get HLS shut down, and stop all these animals suffering. They dont have a voice WE DO!*~* Remember the animals have no voices but yours*~*
