Stop Killings in Pakistan by Takfiri Extremists

We are greatly appalled and saddened by the recent violence at the horrifying events of triple bombing in Lahore in the procession of Imam Ali (a.s.) and the murder of innocents in Quetta while observing the International day of Al-Quds, and we are writing to you today for an immediate halt to the violence, and a restoration to peace in Pakistan. We, the people of faith, are grief-stricken; these incidents along-with other incidents of killings and carnage from extremists, including attacks on Data Darbar, Ahmadis, Churches, Public places etc. by the agents of Imperialist powers can never be justified and must not be tolerated.

This is a human calamity. The global impact of these atrocities has left a dark spot on the image of Pakistan and Islam. The victims of these crimes are civilians from all walks of life including children and women. Unfortunately and surprisingly, the Pakistani government who is responsible for the safety and security of its citizens is not doing anything to safe people from these atrocities.

We are writing to express our deep concern on brutal killings and gross violation of human rights by local and foreign extremists in Pakistan. One of the recent attacks was on the Day of Al-Quds, this global annual day is observed worldwide against the Zionist entity. Attacking on participants, these extremist takfiris have once again proved themselves as mercenaries of Israel. It is time that the Pakistani government shows its dedication to fighting terrorism by first protecting its own innocent citizens from such terrible and brazen acts of violence. It is deplorable and astonishing that these groups have been able to attack whenever and wherever they want.
We urgently call on you to:
1. Protect Citizens of Pakistan, and resolve ongoing crises without further delay
2. Replace incompetent Minister of Interior, who is directly responsible for these atrocities
3. Arrest the extremist elements responsible for killings and law and order situation and bring them to the justice
4. Ban XE (ex Backwater) to operate in Pakistan as they are speculated to be behind all these gruesome attacks by helping and empowering extremists with money and resources.
5. Remove the blockade of the area and open the Parachinaar-Peshawar highway, and ensure the security and safety of the travelers
6. STOP Target killing of innocent Pakistanis including Doctors and other professionals

We condemn all violence against all innocent peoples, and we are writing to you today because we believe that your office bears the responsibility to control this menace. Pakistan must take the necessary action, and stop this violence immediately. Please do not disappoint the international community with further inaction - You must protect your citizens!
