Stop RT News on PBS Stations

This is petition is to demand WYCC in Chicago and all other PBS stations in the United States to stop broadcasting RT news, a news magazine which is a propaganda tool of the Russian Federation that uses false and slandered information and portrays this information as fact and news.

A particular episode of RT news portrayed the Ukrainian Genocide - "Holodomor" - as a propaganda tool of former president Victor Yushchenko in order to make enemies with the Russian Federation. This, in reality, was not the case. Also, this so called "news organization" tried to report information that this tragedy of humanity was not a genocide of the Ukrainian nation, even though hundreds of nations all over the world have recognized this genocide. There also exists historical material which supports that the "Holodomor" in Ukraine indeed was a genocide.

The above mentioned episode is only one example where RT reports false claims and uses propaganda of the government of the Russian Federation. RT not only spreads false information about Ukraine, but off all former Soviet States who are in the state of democratic development.

We ask that those who support of the ban of RT on American television sign this petition. This is not a matter of freedom of speech, but a matter of stopping false information from being spread to the American public.
