Stop sign on 5th St. at George St.

We, the undersigned, request a STOP sign on the corner of 5th street at the intersection with George street. We believe this will greatly improve safety and quality of life. It is a dangerous corner, both for cars and pedestrians. For cars crossing from George there is a blind spot and cars travel very quickly on 5th. The lack of a stop sign also makes pedestrian crossing difficult and unsafe.

A stop sign is crucial at this intersection. It is too difficult to see oncoming traffic on 5th Street while trying to turn from George Street. For the safety of drivers and children, please install a stop sign!
