Stop Stickcat

Stickcat is a comic run daily in our local paper, the "Daily Campus". Not only is this comic an obvious rip-off of legendary "Garfield", but it is also horribly crafted, and the cut & paste tool is used far too much considering the time and care other artists put into their comics. The following statements were taken from the creator of Stickcat on his website, www.stickcat.net:

"My goal with publishing stickcat in DC wasn't to impress or amuse students like you. My goal was to have something so horribly produced and slapped together in that publication that I could open up the paper every day and see my terrible comic and laugh."

"Not only do I get paid, but I get the pleasure of hearing people like you rant about something they think is a serious effort in comic production."

"As for me stopping production for the comic, that won't be happening any time soon. Thanks to your post I feel refreshed and rejuvenated to the point where I can take my comics and make them even worse!!"

Is it fair for this idiot to get paid the same amount as other DC Comic artists who actually try to provoke laughter for readers of the Daily Campus? Follow me, together we can end this newspaper pollution.
