STOP THE EXTERMINATION OF THE WOLF IN NORWAY

The news of the killing of yet another 6 European Wolf Canis lupus lupus individuals demonstrates yet again Norwegian ignorance on modern scientific knowledge in respect to diversity of species. Norway has once again succeeded in excluding itself from the consensus of the majority of European states in such questions and contributes to the sadly deficient and monotonous environment that we will hand over to future generations. Predators, raptors not to forget whales all have a place on this planet and in Europe because they are indispensable for the natural biological balance.

This unilateral action by your country, which affects the fauna and flora of Scandinavia and Europe as a whole, is met with disbelief and a complete lack of understanding by not only professional conservationists, but by the majority of European citizens.

I urge you stop at once this extermination of the wolf, as well as other organisms at the top of the food chain, in order to prevent even greater damage to the European and Scandinavian ecological system.

The ongoing interference with and damage to nature from economic development is bad enough; we do not need make things worse by introducing such unnecessary and absurd additional negative factors.
