PETITION TO PROTEST LAWSUIT BEING JOINED BY WASHINGTON STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ROB MCKENNA AND 11 OTHER STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS
We the undersigned protest the egregious actions of the State Attorney Generals in 12 States in an attempt to challenge the constitutionality of the Health Care Reform bill passed by the United States Congress on March 21, 2010.
Congressman Jim McDermott (WA-07) writes: "...The legislation we passed last evening is the most significant health care legislation since the passage of Medicare forty-five years ago. Efforts to reform our country s health care system date back nearly 100 years, and serve to underscore the importance of what we accomplished last night" We agree!!
All of our State Governments have a serious budget deficit that needs to be resolved and spending our precious tax dollars on a frivolous, Republican-motivated lawsuit is unthinkable. We protest!
Who are these Attorney Generals representing? Certainly not the good people of the United States. We protest! And we demand that this lawsuit be stopped.
