As fans we are horrified that Walt Disney's truest masterpiece is being bastardized by a Direct-To-Video sequel.
For the last few years, animation fans (both those who like sequels and purists who revolt them) have stood by to see mostly un-needed sequels attach themselves to so many of the greatest classics of all time.
We thought the "worst" was over with "Cinderella II", but now we are horrified to hear of the announcement of "Snow White II".
In life, Walt Disney expressed NO INTEREST in making a sequel to his first animated film. I do not think that The Walt Disney Co. has any right to going against his wishes posthumously.
Futhermore, with this petition, we are expressing our wishes for there to be a limitation on future sequels. One or two is acceptable, but the fact that there seems to be a new one announced every month is becoming a little too much for true-Disney fans to bear.

I have been a fan of disney since I was a child. As a Disney fan and collector of Disney movies and Merchandise, I think it is appalling to think that there will be a Snow White 2! Snow White marries the prince and lives happily ever after .....The END!!!

I know an animator who works for Disney at their Austrialian animation studio, where all of the sequels are made, and he said that 'Snow White 2' is nothing more than a rumor and that it is NOT being made, to his knowledge.
