Alright, crappy authors scouring the Pit of Voles (occasionally known as fanfiction.net) need to stop scouring. Please. With fics like Tara 'Gilesbie''s 'My Immortal', and the ever-famous 'legolas by laura' (I hear the audio for that is hilarious), while it's funny for a little bit, I hear with all the eye-bleeding cases coming up amongst fanfic readers that there's a cholera epidemic in our midst.
The main thing that comes with these badfics is, yes, the bane of all existence, real and illusionary--Mary Sues.
