We, the undersigned Brother Rice students, demand the administration o f Brother Rice High School located in Chicago, Illinois, including but not limited to Brother Karl J. Walczak, President, Mr. James P. Antos, Principal, Dr. Kevin Burns, Assistant Principal - Faculty, and Mr. Mike McShane, Vice President, give immediate, honest, and complete reasoning for the termination, transfer, or reassignment of Brother Patrick Martin.
As students of Brother Rice, we believe that Br. Martin was committed to preparing us, as young men, for college and for the process of life-long learning. We further believe that he, to the best of his abilities, succeeded in educating young men to act manfully in Christ Jesus and to deal wisely with the world in the tradition of the Christian Brothers, Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice, and Jesus Christ. This is why we demand that as the student body, we be promptly informed of all reasons as to why Br. Martin is no longer with Brother Rice High School.
As students of Brother Rice, we believe that Br. Martin was committed to preparing us, as young men, for college and for the process of life-long learning.
