On 13th March 2003, Cheryl Tweedy was charged with racially aggravated assault after an incident in a nightclub. This event occured in January, and involved Cheryl hitting a woman. We believe she was provoked before hand.
Sophie Amogbokpa, the other woman involved, claimed she did nothing and added that Cheryl hurled racial abuse.
This is hard to believe! Cheryl was many friends of a different ethnic origin and was friendly with Popstars finalist Javine Hylton.
