Support for Cedar Park multi-use complex

As you may or may not know, the voters of Cedar Park, Texas, have been struggling for several years with the issue of constructing an entertainment complex which would include a year-round ice arena. Approval to build such a facility will be either granted or denied based on a proposition in the city's Nov. 7 election.
The citizenry is concerned that there would not be enough local participation to support the facility and that, ultimately, funding would come out of their pockets in the form of increased taxes.
It is our desire to reassure Cedar Park voters that there is widespread support for more ice arenas throughout Central Texas, and that they need not rely solely on participation by Cedar Park residents.
As you can see from the attached "Open Letter to the Citizens of Cedar Park," we hope to demonstrate our support for more ice in Central Texas by actually showing them just how many people are willing to go to Cedar Park and spend their money. If you would be interested in skating, playing hockey, attending professional sports and concerts, or any of the other varied opportunities such a facility might present, please sign our petition to show your support for more ice in Central Texas.
Be assured, if you are a regular customer of another sporting venue in Central Texas, we are not asking you to commit to move your activities to this as-yet-to-be-built facility. Even if it's just occasional public skating, or attending one Ice Bats game a year, we want to let the voters of Cedar Park know:
IF YOU BUILD IT, WE WILL COME!
Results of the petition will be published in the Hill Country News prior to the Nov. 7 election.
