Support for the Game "Bully" by "Rockstar Games"

Dear All,

We the fans of upcoming game "BULLY" would like to say that we would be outraged if it were to be cancelled. Many of us our major fans of any Rockstar Games title, and to that point 99\% of us arent violent types, nor do we have any intentions of replicating any scenes or actions that the games represent, we just want to have a good time, in our spare time. And sometimes being able to express ourselves in a virtual way, Rockstar Games has given us this option.

The upcoming game "BULLY" only has minimal information so far, and yet there is already a petition against it, to stop its release. The developers Rockstar Vancouver have only released a small description of the game and a handful of screenshots. And yet many have jumped to conclusions not having anything to back-up there concerns. So far in these screenshots, we have not seen any guns, and we the 'fans' do not believe this game needs guns, to be 'fun', and 'fun' is what we're looking for. While we do not indorse any type of school violence, (ala The Columbine School Shootings), we do indorse good fun.

I myself have been bullied at school, I don't believe a person can go through their school years without being bullied in some way, whether it be for being ugly, fat, a geek, a goth, a punk, a jock, any type of person can be bullied for any manor of things, insecure people bully others to make themselves feel better. I myself am guilty of bullying in some way. So whether your a bully, or have been bullied, or both, this game is not going to change the face of the bullying world, I do not believe we'll see a rise in bullying, although sadly it may stay the same, or it might even decrease with the ability to virtually bully in the comfort of our own homes. This game may sell millions of copies, or it may not, but it won't be the cause of bullying, bullying has been around for centuries no doubt. And one videogame will not change anything.

We want this game to be developed, and released, for us to enjoy in the comfort of our own homes, representing whatever we want, getting our own back at those bullies, or just being a bully, without physically/emotionally/mentally hurting someone, please let us the fans of "BULLY" have our game. Rockstar Games are pioneers in an ever-growing industry, they won't go away, they will keep producing quality and innovative and perhaps controversial games for years to come, and we the fans will continue to support them 100\%, because that's what we've been doing for the past few years, and that is why the industry is getting bigger. "BULLY" is just small part of the big picture, we don't see petitions and complaints against books, magazines, and movies, so why the gaming industry, it's all the same, just a different way of expressing ones views, or ideas.

In conclusion, we the fans sign this petition in 100\% support for Rockstar Games, Rockstar Vancouver, the game "BULLY" and any future titles by these companies... Don't take us for idiots, we know our rights and wrongs, and we know what's fun and what's not.

Bring on the BULLY...
