I think its time fans take a stand!!
The severity of Mr. Bertuzzi's suspension was unjust and unfair. While we all agree it is a tragic incident, the punishment does NOT merit such a sever penalty. Mr. Bertuzzi is being used as a scapegoat for the ENTIRE NHL. There is a strong double standard happening here. When Mr. Morre (An NHL rookie) went after Markus Nazland (#1 player in the league) it was deemed a clean hit...the injuries Mr. Nazland sustaind were a result of his face hitting the ice..therefore Mr. Moore is NOT at fault for these injuries. So with that said Did the punch that Mr. Bertuzzi threw at Mr Moore cause the injuries? NO the injuries occured when Mr. Moore hit the ice or when everyone on the ice jumped on top of him. So where is the fairness in this? Todd Bertuzzi did NOT intentionally cause Mr. Moore harm and is very distraught over this. I also think Mr. Tony Denato should accept some responsibilite in this whole mess....He knew the Canucks team was LIVID about the hit he placed on Mr. Nazlund..why even put him on the ice at that point? PLEASE DO NOT LET MR. BERTUZZI SUFFER THE FATE FOR THE PROBLEMS WITHIN THE NHL.
This is a big issue that needs to be dealt with, the rookies coming up in this league have NO RESPECT for the stars of today. How many concussions did Wayne Gretzsky have? NONE. Now if you ask how many of todays top players have had at least one concussion you will be sure to find most of them have. Yet the NHL wants to use the Bertuzzi incident as a way to make a statement.....WELL ITS THE WRONG STATMENT TO MAKE.

action should have been taken by league on moore when he hit naslund. i think bertuzzi was just trying to send a message to the rest of the league, u do not go after my friend, without dealing with me, even if it's later.

Although I do not condone violence of any type, I do think this punishment to Todd Bertuzzi to be too severe. You are punishing the fans instead!

Girnato should have known better than to put moore on the ice, his intention was to initaiate a fight between moore and bertuzzi, to produce a penalty, then another powerplay goal.
